Drunken Stampers Get Punchy!

So, it was just a matter of time before someone got punched out at the Drunken Stampers Challenge Blog (and crafting lounge to the stars), and this is the week! No, no, we're not kickboxing or anything that might break a nail. We're using those oft-forgotten (at least by me) little crafting tools called "punches."

I'll confess: I own a grand total of three punches, none larger than 1/2-inch. I guess I'm just not a punch kinda girl (although of course if Tim Holtz ever comes out with a line of them, I'll buy the whole shebang!). So, the little stars and both sizes of the swirly-gigs on my card were punched from metallic silver cardstock, using my entire punch inventory.

The sort-of Tolkien looking dude is from Rubber Poet, and he's colored with Spica Glitter Pens that I  smudged with chalks for richer color. A few layers of DP, and voila!

Whether you have just one punch or a studio full, we're jazzed to see what you can do with them! Our Punch Challenge is open through next Friday, November 12. Come raise a glass with the Drunken Stampers, and get punched out!

Hugs,
Linda

She's great! I love the swirls and stars! What a great way to connect the main image to the wonderful background design! By the way the splash of pink is fab!

I have Sizzix (three kinds), and a Cricut, and I still go to my punches the most because they're so handy to use.

Fabulous use of one of your three punches...lol.. yep, they're an often under used tool in my studio as well. And I do have significantly more than three. And you're also correct about Tim coming out with punches.... lol

You are too funny!!! I'm not like some people that have a million punches but I do love what I have! What I do most is cut circles or scalloped circles to make the crumply flowers. I love those!

Your card is great! Love it!!!
