Drunken Stampers Get Sponge-tastic with The Stamping Boutique!

Welcome to the Drunken Stampers/ Stamping Boutique Sponge-tastic Challenge (yes, I made up the "sponge-tastic" part, but it's kind of a cool word, yes?). We're just delighted to partner up with the wonderful Tracy Malnofski, who's the owner, operator and All-Around Amazing Woman behind The Stamping Boutique. She and her team have a special sponsor prize for one of our participants this week, and we'll get to that shortly, but first, how 'bout we give the virtual floor to Tracy so she can tell us about The Stamping Boutique? Heeeere's Tracy!

I’m Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor Drunken Stampers! My store has been open since September 2009. I am currently a stamp artist for Unity Stamp Company, and I’ve worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack in the past. I’m a professional artist and an active member of the Artists' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It’s noisy, but I love them all. I’m truly blessed.

The Stamping Boutique is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality, as well as their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor this week.

If you've never checked out the awesome goods at The Stamping Boutique, you owe it to yourself to head over there immediately and do so. Go ahead. I'll wait here. When you get back, we'll talk prizes...!

See, pretty cool stuff huh? I immediately feel head over heels for the Princess Jennifer Latte' digi stamp, and that's what I used for my own card this week. Oh, and this challenge is all about sponging, so I used a basic sponge stippling technique with Ranger Distress Inks (in Broken China, Old Paper and Frayed Burlap) for the background. Princess Jennifer was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Okay, about that prize! The very generous Tracy is giving away THREE digis of the winner's choice! That's a whole lotta love, y'all. To be eligible to win, create your own work of art that incorporates sponging in some way (no, I don't mean sponging off your friends to get money to buy papercrafting products, although if you figure out a good technique for making this work, please let me know immediately!). One winner will be drawn from our players this week, and the winning entry must be new and not entered in any other challenges. You have until a minute to midnight, next Friday (April 8) to enter your Sponge-tastic art!

Speaking for the entire Drunken Stampers team, I'm just thrilled to have the opportunity to work with The Stamp Boutique images. Thanks to Tracy and her team, and to all of YOU, for making this so much fun!

Hugs,
Linda
